Under the Dome by Stephen King---- (blog by Casey Smith)

As we are introduced to the multitude of parallel story lines throughout this magnificent Stephen King novel, his word imagery paints masterpieces. Yeah.... No duh! We all know Stephen King is a great writer for an abundance of features, but here is what makes Under the Dome so special.

Picture a small town society.... where on one side a sign reads "Welcome to Chester's Hill" and on the other "We Hope You Come Back Very Soon"

When we meet our characters, life is as usual. After a dispute with Big Jim Rennie, army captain Dale 'Barbie' Barbara begins to leave town when a giant non-permeable dome appears around the city limits. Barbie immediately turns back and heads back into town in attempt to make sense of the commotion.

From Pacemaker explosions to town corruption during a crisis, this is packed full of dark and twisted Stephen King imagery!!!!

I can't wait to keep listening......
